A central team had already visited the state earlier to assess the damage and provide assistance measures.
Earlier this week, PM Modi also visited Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to review similar flood-hit regions.
PM Modi’s Meeting in Varanasi
Before heading to Uttarakhand, PM Modi will meet Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam in Varanasi at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
