In a heartbreaking incident, a 38-year-old mother was found dead in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, shielding her 10-year-old twin sons during a cloudburst that triggered landslides and flash floods on Wednesday night.

Her husband, Kunwar Singh, was rescued alive nearly 16 hours after the disaster, while both children survived by holding onto their mother’s body.
