“Uttarakhand to Host Astro Tourism & Dark Sky Conclave 2025 in Corbett”

The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), in collaboration with Starscapes, is organizing the Astro Tourism and Dark Sky Conclave at Corbett, Ramnagar, from March 21 to March 23, 2025. This initiative, part of the Nakshatra Sabha Astro-Tourism Campaign, aims to bring together astronomers, astrophotographers, space enthusiasts, and industry experts for a unique stargazing and learning

The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), in collaboration with Starscapes, is organizing the Astro Tourism and Dark Sky Conclave at Corbett, Ramnagar, from March 21 to March 23, 2025.

This initiative, part of the Nakshatra Sabha Astro-Tourism Campaign, aims to bring together astronomers, astrophotographers, space enthusiasts, and industry experts for a unique stargazing and learning experience under Uttarakhand’s pristine dark skies.


Promoting Astro Tourism & Dark Sky Conservation

The conclave will focus on:
Dark Sky Conservation Awareness – Understanding the impact of light pollution on astronomy and ecosystems.
Astro-Tourism Development – Integrating stargazing tourism into India’s travel industry.
Technical Training & Certification – Equipping participants with skills to become Dark Sky Conservation Ambassadors.
